Dolly's Dream

Lyssy May sales support Dolly's dream
Dolly’s Dream is committed to changing the culture of bullying by addressing the impact of bullying, anxiety, depression and youth suicide, through education and direct support to young people and families.

Dolly’s Dream:

  • raises awareness about the serious issue of bullying and its devastating effects
  • provides help and supports young people affected by bullying
  • educates about bullying issues and advocates for bullying laws and regulations
  • delivers information on ways to help prevent bullying and cyber bullying
  • works to change cultures and prevent bullying through a variety of educational approaches.

Lyssy May's Commitment:

Alyssa, owner of Lyssy May, grew up in regional Queensland and attended a school that welcomed country kids from all over Australia. The 2018 news of the untimely death of 14-year-old Dolly Everett, who was the victim of relentless bullying, hit home for Alyssa who saw in Dolly's face the reflection of the many young girls with whom she shared her schooling.

The stark reality of the impact that bullying is having on young Australians today is an important issue that we need to talk about and encourage kindness, particularly within the walls of social media.

Lyssy May is proud to be an authorised fundraiser for Dolly's Dream again in 2023 and will donate 10% of all Retail Sales to the charity in support of their important work. Donations will be made monthly and reflected on Lyssy May's fundraising page.
